Fuel mileage success (I think) 200 1985

After replacing the timing belt, and cleaning the throttle body, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, manifold to exhaust down pipe gasket, new AMM sensor, and fine tuning the TPS and the mixture adjustment on the AMM, I drove to the West side of Lakeland this morning (174 miles round trip), and returned this afternoon (Top Gun is a great event) My fuel mileage is up to 26.6 MPG, and that is cruising at 70 with the A/C going full tilt. Guys, that is a 3 MPG increase, and at $3.55 per gallon, it was worth it. I think that running at 65 instead of 70 and not using the A/C, I might even see the sunny side of 27. Not bad for a 23 year old 245, with an Automatic transmission.
