I have had the car parked for several months with less than a full tank of fuel. I have since put more fuel in with some gasline anti-freeze. She starts like a champ then when warmed up I put it in gear then it stalls and won't start. The enginge turns over it fires then quits. I live in northern Canada
and the weather has been -10 to -20C. Could there be a component in the system that is frozen (ie. a fuel pump that is gelling up and restricting fuel when the car is in gear)?
I have checked the fuel pump fuses, #'s 4,6. Should I hear the fuel pumps everytime I turn the the key?
What sort of other things can check and do to sort this problem out?
Any advice on this mattter would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
Lockie.
