Cause of ead battery 200

I have a 1992 245 wagon and bought a new battery for it about 2 months ago. It has been sitting for a couple of weeks and yesterday when I turned on the ignition I heard nothing. I then jumped it and my wife drove it around for about 10 minutes. This morning it wouldn't start again so I gave it a quick charge and it started. I let it run for 10 minutes or so and 7 hours later it wouldn't start again.

Do you have any idea what could cause this or what to check for? It's hard to believe the battery is bad but it's a die hard so I have a good warranty. What would you job?
