MY car is a 92 245 with just some minor mods ..

Any how .. while the light switch knob is in the full on (3rd pos) all my lights (dash/aux/marker/headlights) will intermitantly flicker/ go out completely / or just go out during a change from hi to low or low to hi. then just as ghostly, they turn back on..lol

when they go out for 1-5 mins... I turn the light knob in the #2 pos( aka- all marker and dash lights only) and my marker lights come back on. If I go back to pos. 3, then ALL lights go out again..

I have checked the follow
- R&R the light knob, cleaned contacts and reassembled.
no change
- checked/cleaned all grounds for headlight solinoids
-checked all wiring and conntectors... no burn marks
-checked rheostat above light knob.. check ohms, no flat spots, or loss of continuity..but that doesnt control the headlights too..

So what I am looking for is, something that could short both the headlights and the interior dashlights and marker at the same time..

any ideas would be great..
