Front end rattle - likely culprit/suspect ? 700

Hi,

My '95 940T has very recently developed a nasty rattle in the passenger side front end. The car has 170,000 miles (273,000 km) on it.

It makes a fairly loud knocking sound every time I hit a bump. I haven't had a chance to get the car up on jackstands so I don't know what the source of the noise is but I was wondering if there were any front suspension bushings that tend to wear out first on those cars. In other words, is there a most likely culprit ?

I know it's not going to be the sway bar or sway bar link bushings as I just installed an IPD sway bar set on the car not too long ago. It's not a dead shock either as the car has fairly new Blistein HDs on it.

Any ideas/suspicions as to what it might be ?

Thanks,

Roger
