Euro headlights on pre-1986 240? (WITH PIC) 200 1981

Hey remember the Volvo with the leaky sunroof?
Well it still leaks a little... one of the drains is still clogged like crazy.... but check out the cool headlights I've found


The lights came off a 1980 244 DL but were not originally from that car,
If anyone can help me identify the year/model they were used it would be of great help, if you have pictures of other cars with the same lights would be nice too
The only concern that I have is the the space between the headlight and frame seems pretty wide and I wonder how it's going to go this winter....hopefully not too much crum will end up in there
