Hello,
I’m working on a 1967 1800S in which the heater will not turn off. This car is not over heating. The cable is in good order and the valve (when viewed from underneath the dash) appears to open and close. However, heat constantly pours into the cabin and moving the heater control lever to the on position does not make it any warmer. While I have no experience working on this component I believe that the heater valve is stuck open. What is the problem and how do I fix it? If any further clarification is necessary please let me know. Thank you for your help.
