How far can you be off! 900

I'm off 60 degrees on my timing on my crnkshaft pully counterclockwise on a 16 valve b234f engine I just rebuilt. It idles rough but runs up to 70 - 80 mph and starts right up. Am I off a teeth or two on the crankshaft and would it even run if I where? Any comment would be appreciated.
