Vintage Rally car trivia

I think I know what the "L.H.D." (Left Hand Drive?) on the back of the Singh 544 Rally car stood for, but what did E.A.K. stand for? Also, exactly what was the purpose of the arrow above the L.H.D. (which pointed to the left)?
