I had a gas line leak in a 1986 240 so I replaced the steel line with a reinforced rubber length of hose made for fuel lines. My concern is that when I bought the gas line rubber replacement hose the parts guy said I should be buying hose specifically to handle fuel injection pressures. I checked the manual to find the systems run 36 to 45 PSI. The specific fuel injection hose was $4.80 a foot but the regular gasline hose was 80 cents. I bought and put on the cheaper hose.
Has anyone had experience with this issue?? Will this regular reinforced gas line hose be OK of will it BLOW??
