'93 240 w/ 134a
Blowing great cold air, today the clutch(?) started a bad bearing type of crunchy grind ... I shut A/C off.
Read 700/900 FAQ's and read of possibility of changing out bearing on clutch/compressor w/o opening system. Anyone have experience with this? I've tackled timing belts and wondering how much of a contortionist one has to be to do this bearing?
I'm game to try that ... other option is the new compressor from Groton at $260.
