I've got a cracked driver's side steering boot. It has been cracked for at least a year (about 5000 miles driving) but hasn't been on my priority list, mostly because I didn't want to pay for getting the wheels aligned. The boot still seems to provide decent protection and you have to stretch it to see the crack exposed. Anyway, is there anything I should check while replacing it to make sure that no damage has been done? I've done a boot on a Honda Accord before but I'm no expert so any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Blake
