B18 - B20 Transmission Bellhousing 1800

Anyone know if the B18 transmission bellhousings had problems with strength? I am using one on a significantly modified B-20 engine. I would love to have those extra 2 bolts at the bottom tied in, but don't.

Anyone know of issues. It is only a 160-170 hp engine, but then again if it comes apart it will be a real problem.
