89 240DL post accident problems 200 1989

after spinning out of control and slamming the area above the wheel well on the passenger side of my 89 240 DL into a tree, the car no longer starts.
the engine makes noise, but doesn't actually start, as if not receiving gas.
there is no internal damage, and the diagnostic unit is not working so i can't retrieve any OBD codes.

all help is much appreciated.
