Broken exhaust manifold stud 900 1993

Hello all,

I just noticed that the forwardmost stud/nut is broken off of my exhaust manifold. When you're looking at it from the passenger side, it's the lower right stud on cyl #1. I noticed that the nut looked loose, twisted it by hand as if to tighten, and it came right out in my hand attached to about 3/4" of the stud. This is a non-turbo car. Can I just leave it alone or is this one of those things I really ought to fix even though I'd rather not? I don't have a torch and imagine getting that manifold off w/o one is next to impossible. Thanks in advance.
