940 turbo Dome light strangeness 900 1991

Hi everybody,

Another issue with my parent's car: a 940 turbo.
My dad rtecently went to a mechanic to get the ac system checked and some of the vacuum tubes cleaned (hissing noise from dome light sensor).

When I just had a look at the car I noticed his front passenger dome light (the spot) doesn't work anymore, nor does the timed delay on the courtesy lights (when you close the front door it now instantly shut off the lights).
It's not the bulb and I cleaned the contacts in the dome console.
I'm starting to think the cicuitry in the dome lights assembly has kicked the bucked.

Any ideas/ solutions?
