Was wondering how tough a job it is to dismantle and clean the throttle body on my 79 245dl brick? I was told by a mechanic he would charge me 48.00 to clean the throttle body. The car idles around 1200-1500 rpm's now and when I try to turn it down it runs sorta rough. Anywhere online I can download a shop illustration for this? I was also told I may have to replace the rubber bellows due to age. What is the best cleaning agent to use? thanks!
