I finaly reached 200k miles YEA!!!!! Ok on to the problem just truned over 200112 miles and all of the suden my car will not shift into od ( over drive) it's an 89 240 b230f engine with auto tranny. I pressed the little button that locks od out and it clicked and the arow came on. I pressed it again and the thing clicked and the light went out howver it still will not go into od? Could that be the selinoid???? other than that and still now blower motor for the heat/ ac the car shifts smothly and runs like a champ! any thoughts. It has probly been a good 30k miles sence i chaned the fluid as well. I have not checked that yet it just started this tonight. I guess what ever it is just wore out. I can't complain it has 200k miles been through 3 teen agers and me a college student and nothing but normal service to the tranny.
