A snow pile "compromised" the wires running along the front of the oil pan on my 1980 240. The little red wire at the back of the alternator broke off of the harness. This got my attention first. Crawling under the car greeted me with a crumbling mess. I would like to know, how many wires are in this sleeve and where does that little red wire go. I would like to splice the wires together to get the car running again, so I can get to a place (like my driveway !! ) where I can replace the harness eventually. Thanx.
