My daughters 1988 240 4 cyl. has been running great since the last issue this board helped me fix. Today she was on the way home from work and had only gone about 1 mile when it started to run rough then it quit. The fuel pump is running and I suspect bad gas. Dry gas seemed to help and it ran fine for 6-8 miles. I was following my wife home and it quit again. Are fuel pumps intermittent before they die or do they go all at once? Any other ideas would be appreciated. I'm still not giving up on bad gas/water in gas but I couldn't get it started again and pushed it to a parking lot. Any ideas appreciated.
