Hi all,
1991, 940SE, 290K, have rebuilt engine. This car was running absolutely without any problem. Few months back the engine started shaking. At idle regrdless of cold/warm/hot it is worse as if someone is shaking the car. Have replaced many known parts but to no avail. Since I am running out of ideas, I am thinking about the motor mounts. Though they seems fine please let me know how I can tell that they need replacement. I bought this car with rebuilt engine at 267K and was happy with the performance. It still has the same power and only issue is the shaking/rocking/vibrating.
