I'm thinking of cleaning the interior carpets in the car over the christmas break. Has anyone cleaned them (and had them turn out nicely) after pulling the carpet completely out of the car? Can I just spray some carpet cleaner on there and go at it with a sprayer nozzle ona garden hose?

Has anyone tried renting a steam cleaner for the car?
