Storing tires over the summer / winter

I got my new snow tires placed on my car. Come next spring, I'll remove them and buy a new set of touring tires and put them on different rims.

My question is what is the best way for tires to hibernate during the off-season? I know not to leave them outside in the elements. But should they be bagged? How about putting on some rubber conditioner (not Armor-All) before storage? Should the air pressure be maintained?

I was going to condition the rubber of the tires and hang them on the wall of my garage, supported by the rims. My main concern is that my gararge gets quite warm in the summer. Will that shorten the life of the snow tires as they hang on the wall?
