I recently bought a slightly rusty '66 122, and a very clean '64 220 estate wagon.
I've had over a dozen 140's in my 20 years of driving, but the 120 series are quite different.
I was wondering about intstalling this rebuilt '71 b20e w/SU's and the 4spd.OD trans into the 66 (trying for the rally car style) and I'm wondering, how do I do the trans mount? Also,I want to put an OD in the Estate (I want to make this my daily/road trip car but staying very "stock") I haven't really got too far into either, but when I got under the wagon I noticed that there's no bolt up spot likt the 140 (for the cross member) so how can I do it? Is it the same with the 66? one clutch is cable driven and the other is hydrolic any suggestions with this? also what about the drive lines?
I'm very open to suggestion, with both these cars, and some good honest input would be helpful........so thanks
P.S. with these 2 cars I got about a small pickup full of misc extra parts (I'm in tacoma Washington) so if your looking for something it wouldn't hurt to ask and if I'm willing to part with it I'll let you know!!!
