difference between B6304F and B6304S engines 900

Hi everyone.
I was wondering if anyone knows the difference between these two engines, other than the F was put in 960's from 92 to 94 and the S went in 95 to 97.
None of the literature I can find tells me what improvements the S has if any and the few Volvo dealers I have called so far were clueless.
Anyone know??
