How to Identify Different Camshafts 200

I have now progressed in my Volvo-ness that I'm willing to attempt to replace the camshaft in my 230F. I've seen somewhere on the internet a list of the different camshafts that are available, but was wondering:

Which ones would be appropriate for upgrading the performance of my car? Hmmm, that's a loaded question - let's say lower the power band from 3-5K where it is now...

How do I identify them at the pick n pull? I was looking at a camshaft in a 92 240, and all I saw were some serial numbers (two different sets of numbers in two different places, I think, but I don't remember clearly now) and a triangle that looked like the symbol for "delta".

So which one(s) do I want to look for, and how do I knows 'em when I sees 'em?

Thanks for your help,

Lanval
