Hi Everyone,
I apologize for the shameless plug I'm about to make but I thought some people on this forum might be interested in hearing about this since it is kind of a rare 1800 related item that I've just put up for auction on eBay.
What is up for auction is a WORKING refurbished Smiths clock from a '61 - '69 1800 coupe. As most of you know, a working clock of this type is exceedingly rare since they pretty much all died very premature deaths due to an internal design flaw.
The nature of the design flaw and what I've done to correct it in order to prevent the clock from dying another premature death is described in detail within the auction ad. Here's the URL:

While you're there you may want to have a look at my other auctions. I have several different types of weatherstripping kits for 1800s up for auction as well. Those I have up all the time so I don't usually ever mention them on this forum but I thought I might as well in this instance.
You can contact me through eBay if you have any questions about the clock or other things I have up for auction. Alternatively, you can post your question(s) here and I'll try and make a point of checking back here over the next 10 days while the clock auction is on.
That is all. Thanks for indulging me.
Roger
