Help!!! Urgent. Easy fix(for BulbFailure guru) .Center brake light out.Bulb works 200

I am leavinng in at 2 am...Mar 29th. I am traveling to San Fran... My bulb Failure came on this night.. It is the Center Brake light(located
high posistion. I have a 245. 1987. I already know my tailgate harness is sketchy... I tested the bulb with a 12v power supply and it works.. So what do I do. I already have both of the tailgate harnesses in my brick along with nearly every spcaare part you think of. ANY suggestions. I have a voltmeter . And Bentley Bible . I can drive to San fran like this but I want to fix if it might be simple. Thanks...
