brakes feel like they are sticking going into reverse 700 1990

From a cold start while backing out of the garage, there is a slight hesitation becore the car moves in reverse. It almost feels like the brakes are sticking or grabbing. I just replaced the front roters, pad and calipers. Does this have something to do with new brakes braking in or symptoms of an auto trans issue?
