How to service wheel bearings 200 1986

I was looking for a good write up on servicing my front wheel bearings but couldn't find one, and Bentley doesn't cover it well. What I am looking for is; how to clean(what type of solvent) and determine if they need to be relaced, how to pack and what type of grease (is there synthetic)and how much to use, and how to properly adjust/torque the nut.
