Cheap replacement springs for 700 w/irs, don't spend $$$ on nivomats 700

The nivomats in my '90 760 were shot and I wasn't about to buy new ones. After some searching and measuring I found some springs at the wreckers that are a direct replacement for the stock spring when using standard shocks. I got them out of a toyota previa. They are shorter and stiffer and they ride great. I replaced the shocks with a good used pair of boge from my old 760 with the live axle. I'ts hard for me to say exactly how much better they are because my nivomats were shot, sometimes they leveled and sometimes they didn't. I have 195/60s and the bottom lip of the fender sits about 1/2" above the top of the center of the tire tread when the car is empty. I suppose you could cut them down if you wanted them lower. I have one coil cut out of my front springs and the car sits level with my ususal collection of tools in the back. The bottom of these springs is not cut square so I used the volvo lower rubber seat and so far it seems fine. These springs can be dropped in without compressing them if you have the front mount of the lower control arm unbolted. I'm happy with them, only cost me $20.

Okay, I think I got the picture thing working
