So.... I took out the OD relay (opened it) looking for broken solder or what not... seeing none..
it appears that there is a little switch in there that goes either up or down... I guess maybe that is worn???
I will likely order a relay from ebay (volvo dealer wants $70 for relay... BAH)
ebay seemed to have either a. Used OD relays ($10ish) or b. Aftermarket relays (~$25ish)
of these 2 choices which would y'all take... the used ones seem to be the Hella ones the after markets are ????? no idea don't seem to say or where they are made.
the other question that occured is could I just "jam" the relay machanism (switch thingy) in the OD on position with a little piece of plastic or something..
I honestly never use the switch anyway... I just cruise around in my stock 240 Wgn chilling so... if the OD was always on it wouldn't really bug me much..... it's when the damn thing turns OFF that it pisses me off.
