Oil Pan Drain Plug Leaking 200 1984

The subject line says it all. My oil pan drain plug is leaking after my last oil change (sucky part is that I use Mobile 1 10W30 and it is leaking all over the place, what a waste). Anyways I replaced the drain plug with a new one / new copper washer and I still have a bad leak. It drips about one drip every 15 seconds. Not a big lose of oil but never the less a big pain in the butt.

Does anyone have any advice or experiences with repair or replacing of the oil pan? I can see that if I were to replace the oil pan the engine would have to come out or the front suspension would have to be dropped in order to access the oil pan. I would really like to stay away from re-threading the oil pan hole since I have never had any luck with doing that... but then again I guess that is because I did it myself. Any and all advice is welcomed on this problem of mine... and as always... Take Care!

Sincerely,
