I'm looking for a hitch (or plans for a hitch) for my PV544. As most of you know, I use a wheelchair, and while my 'travel' chair folds up and fits into the trunk, I'd like to be able to take my electric chair with me.

To that end, I want to buy or build a trailer hitch to pull a small trailer - with a bed about 3 X 4 feet. I'll be building the trailer from the remains of an old Cushman yard truck, which has a very nice small 'pickup' style bed. The trailer will weigh in at about 200 lbs+/-.

I've seen hitches here that attach to the rear axle; that's not the kind I want. I'd like a simple lightweight hitch that would bolt to the rear frame runners and probably clamp to the rear bumper. Since there will be very little tongue weight, I don't need something huge and heavy.

If anyone has plans or pictures of a hitch for a PV544, I'd appreciate getting a copy.
