need a.c. help and loss of power

Hi my 91 740 with the regina system is running weak and seems to have loss its power in the last year. I have 170000 miles on it and my air conditioning only will blow nice and cold when i hit 65 miles an hour. I replaced the idle air control valve and my refrigent on the ac is full and my ac was blowing very cold at any speed for a few days after the iac valve replacement and now it only works when i get up to highway speeds again but once i am at highway speeds it is ice cold the hole time. If someone could help me solve my loss of power issue and my ac issue i would appreciate it. thanks

The loss of power may mean it is due for a major tune-up. When was the last time it had new plugs, air filter, distributor cap/rotor and wire set, throttle body and flame trap service?
For the ac problem, check the front of the condenser ( in front of the radiator) and see if it is clean and clear of debris ( bugs, dirt, birds ,slow pedestrians etc). If not, clean off with spray from garden hose. No air flow, no cool. Also check for proper operation of the cooling fan, either viscous coupled or electric. I do not know which one they used in the 91's, but would guess electric. You should also check for correct tension, and the condition, of the ac compressor belt to see if it is slipping.
