Replace the water pump at 120K 900 1995

My 95 965 is coming up for it's 120K service. It's time for the timing belt and serpentine belt to be replaced. While they are in there I am having all the front seals replaced due to a small oil leak.

While they are in there would it be prudent to get the water pump replaced. I am having no problems with it, but I seem to recall having read of it being driven off the timing belt and not lasting a lot longer than 120K.

I would appreciate your opinions on this

I would replace it now. It doesn't add that much expense to the project. You would be pushing your luck to take the original water pump to 190k miles when you do the next timing belt change.

My 740 pump went at around 230,000 by starting to leak at pump shaft seals. Like posted, the pump is not expensive so if you replace it now your good for another 100K plus.
