Ok, since my web searches aren't the most successful, I decided to post here asking for some help. Where are the best sources, (if any?) for patch panels for the 544/444 series. I'm begining the restoration of my fathers vintage race car and the rocker panels in particular are VERY eaten. (This was a car that was actually raced back in the late 60's/early 70's, not a replica that I'm building) I thought that Sweedish Classics carried panels, but I can't get thier website to work properly. Maybe its an issue with the site not liking Mozilla? Any help would be greatly appericiated.

I have a hood/front fender assembly (set up to tilt) from our last Volvo race car back in 1974. It's rathe rbeat, but no torn. There is a home-made hood scoop for the Weber carb air cleaner. Where are you located?---Never mind, I found you...Wrong coast!

Well, I wouldn't want that hood/fender setup for this project anyway. We're going to restore it as close as possible to the way it was raced in the '69 season, when it ran in the Sebring 12 hour, The Runnoffs at Daytona, (though they weren't called the runnoffs then...) and a bunch of other cool stuff.

Olof, at Vintage Import Parts has always provided good service to me. In addition to the web address already provided on another message, his email is vintage@telus.net and his number in BC, Canada is 604-943-9663. I will bet he will do everything he can to help you get the parts/body panels you are looking for.
The other parts source I like is Swedish Treasures out of Fayetteville, NY but their web site does not list body panels. If you want to call them anyway, their number is 866-637-3840.

I have a link to Vintage Import Parts that shows rocker panel repair parts for 544 models: www.vintageimparts.com. No experience with them.

When I rebuilt my 445, I ordered a lot of repair panels from VP auto parts in Sweden. Not sure of their URL, but they did just open a distribution warehouse in the US (in the Carolinas, I think). Another board member may have a better link to this company.
