Anyone to proofread my ’74 164 Ebay listing? 140-160 1974

Just listed my car and since most of you probably know more about it than I do, let me know if I made any errors either factual or grammatical. And if you need practice bidding, well, you know what to do. Thanks.

It’s on Ebay at item # 4554794102

I actually saw the post on ebay a few days ago. Beautiful car! You did an excellent job of pointing out the very few defects that the car does have, which should make bidders comfortable that you are showing them everything and know what you're talking about. With all of the info and pictures you posted, I can't imagine anyone having an problems evaluating the car, short of seeing it in person. Good luck.

The only suggestion I would make is to change your title search to read
164 / 164E

As it is, when you do a general search only 9 items show up under Volvo 164E and 77 appear when you do a search for Volvo 164. I have found that most people do not bother to type in the "E" when searching on Ebay because so many parts are interchangeable on these old body styles. You will probably get more hits by adding the above line

Other than that, it is very informative, lots of great pics for such a low price. Just hope that whoever buys it knows enough that these old classics do require work and maintenance. I have spent nearly $8000 in the last 3 months on my '75 164E on mechanical issues, new brakes (lines, hoses, rotors, etc) new leather interior (fortunately I know how to upholster myself, new carpet and it is scheduled for a new paint job soon. I knew by the time I finished with this vehicle I would have 10K + into it.

Good luck. I had to resist that Buy It Now button since I am in the middle of restoring 2 cars at the moment.

I am a stickler for grammar and spelling - you get a A+!

Seriously the only major question I have is, WHY would anyone want to sell
a nice car like this? Even conversion to an M410 wouldn't be that big a
deal. Likewise the installation of a '75 ignition system. It is a pretty
car, my favorite (Swedish) blue. I think it is very well described and the
photos are also excellent. If I didn't have so many of the cotton pickers
I'd be in there bidding!

Holy cow! I say, whoever gets that car from you is going to get a GREAT deal. IMO. Good luck on the sale! I'd even consider raising the buy it now price, and possibly the reserve(but I don't know what it is at currently anyway)

looks good to me, both car and auction....maybe a bit long, but I cant say what should be cut out.
I would specify that I do not acfept Western union, or other wire transfer fraud, but thats just me.
My bank tells me it takes 11 business days after deposit before they know a cashiers check is good.
Maybe I'm just paranoid, but from other countries I only accept pay pal.
