starts up fine, then stalls 200 1984

I've got an 84 244 DL, it starts up fine, then stalls out after a minute or two. Right before it stalls I believe it is the fuel pump relay that buzzes. The relay that buzzes is in the passanger floorboard. From what I've read on brickboard previously the fuel pump relay should have six blades, the relay that's buzzing only has 5 blades. There are two of these 5 blade relays side by side. I tested the fuel pumps by by-passing the fuel pump relay with a jumper wire from #7 fuse to #5 fuse, and the pumps ran. I checked the 25 amp fuse under the hood on the diverside and cleaned the connections. It appeared to be fine. I replace the 5 bladed relays. The car still stalls after a minute or two, but instead of buzzing it clicks right before it stalls. Any advice or suggestions will be very appreciated.

I've got an 84 244 DL, it starts up fine, then stalls out after a minute or two. Right before it stalls I believe it is the fuel pump relay that buzzes. The relay that buzzes is in the passange floorboard.

The start-stall sounded (at first) like the typical failing Air Mass Meter (AMM). But since it runs for more than a second or two, the buzzing relay suggests possible loss of (or marginal) voltage at the fuel relay.

Take a closer look at the blade fuse, its holder contacts, and especially the wire that feeds it from Battery + terminal.

Do the same for Fuse 13, which powers the fuel relay coil.

You can temporarily bypass the suspect 25 amp fuse and the fuel relay by jumpering from fuse 7 (left side) to fuse 5 (left side). This will force the pumps to run immediately. If it then starts and runs, the problem is in the bypassed circuit.

The tank pump will not cause a stall-out, if the main pump is OK.

Consider your in tank fuel pump. You can diagnose this symptom by putting your ear to the gas cap (while the car is running, of course). If the in tank is working fine you should hear a distinct whirring noise. A bad in tank can cause the symptoms you describe. Also consider the dreaded wire harness rot. The 84 is in prime bad wire vintage.
    Good luck.

Well, one thing you may try that could be a problem, is the fuses. Look in the panel and find the fuses which control the fuel pumps. Take the fuse all the way out, then rub the contacts where the fuses fit with steel wool or sand paper. they sometimes get corroded and don't make good contact.
