Repair for Puckered Door Panels? 900

Has anyone executed a successful repair for puckered panels? The passenger side on my 96 965 is suddenly getting bad, to the point I'd like to do something about it? Ideas? Suggestions?
Thanks,
rb

I tried it this weekend. 900

I tried it this weekend. I have puckering and on 3 out of four panels, the leather is pulled away from the top. I removed the front driver door panel and tried to remove the fake wood trim. After pulling off the round clips or breaking off the plastic posts, I tried to pull it away only to have it start to crack in the middle. Called it quits on that part. I was able to stretch out the leather and regule it on the top where it had pulled back but the big pucker by the wood trim remains. Without removing that trim piece, its impossible to smooth it out. Looking over the whole panel from the inside, it doesnt look too condusive to being repaired by an amature. Considering the amount of trouble to remove the one front door panel, I decided to leave well enough alone.

Mine's only puckered at the top, right next to the black window rubber. But it's gotten bad enough it's pulling back and exposing the core of the panel. I think I'll try removal and restretching, it's about the only option I really have.

You may have to remove the metal piece at the top of the panel in order to get the leather under it completely. Should be doable, its all covered by the rubber at the top anyway.

See the May 3rd thread in the S90/V90 forum started by Swede740; I sent a picture of what I've done in that thread (May 8th). I can tell you that removing the panels is not the issue. The material is glued on... you can forget "easily" removing it.
