HI 89 740 TURBO WHAT IS THE SRS LITE? GROUNDED CONTACT IN FUSE BOX LITE GOES OUT? DOES THIS EFECT HOW ENGINE RUNS? THANKS j.c.

    SRS light does not effect how the engine runs.It's for the AIR BAG system.Grounded contact in fuse is a temporary fix due to a problem in the system.Sometimes the light will stay off.Due to the car age, safety measure is up to you if you want to get it fixed,usually your talking big $$ here.
