Classic are insurance

I have a a 1988 244 DL 1983 244 Turbo + intercooler and a 1984 244 TI. They are all what I would call nice examples, but my insurance company does not think that they are worth a great deal and told be to just have liablity. I really don't car for that idea in several ways. I put very few miles on each car. Does anyone have any idea as to how I might get a better deal on insurance for them and still have full coverage. I was wondering about classic car insurace, but wanted to know if that is an option for cars that are driven semi daily? Thanks and happy bricking.

Check around with other insurance companies--you may be able to get a "stated value" type policy, where you and the insurer agree on a maximum amount payable for a total loss, etc. you might also see if your state Department of Insurance has any sort of consumer line where you can get info about what types of coverages are offered in your state. They won't be able to recommend particular insurers to buy from, but may also be able to tell you which auto insurers they have the most copmplaints about.
