Injector miss #1 cyl. excessive gas consumption 700 1992

Excesive gas consumption, irratic engine idle and running.
I have a miss on #1 injector... not the plug.
Pull the connector on the injector, like pulling the plug wire, and there's no hit.
Yes, the spark plug is doing it's thing.
Need some troubleshooting tips.

    Do you have a pulse on that injector? Test with a noid light; it has constant +12V on one side and a grounding pulse on the other.
