I was looking for some information on the Internet in regards to wheel selections and it seems that the 5x108 and 25mm Offset patern makes the selection of aftermarket rims for the 240 very difficult. Only some Ford Taurus models have the same bolt pattern in their wheels. I checked on tirerack.com and it seems that there are only 3 wheels(from 5 wheels a little more than a year ago) that will fit the 240s. I also checked www.discounttiredirect.com and the 17 Inch Voxx looks very promising and decent priced.

Does anynone know of any decent candidate wheels that might fit?

Any recommendations?

    Ipd now sells the Voxx wheels for 240s in 15, 16, and 17" sizes. In my opinion, the 17" are too big for the style of the 240--I'd go with the 16" or even the 15" (Tires will be cheaper, too).

    Mike,

    You're right...the RWD offset limits our wheel selection BUT the 5x108 bolt pattern helps. You can mount spacers which would allow you to fit FWD Volvo rims on your brick if you choose. www.gilracing.com makes an incredible spacer kit designed for Volvos. With spacers the wheel selection dramatically increases as far as Volvo rims and aftermarket rims. Many have mounted Volvo FWD rims on their 240s using spacers. The 17" Voxx MGR's look really sweet.
