Will the fenders from a 244 fit on a 242? My local u pull it has a bunch of 244's but no 242's. I need the drivers fender. Bob

    They should fit, just be aware of the turn signal differences before pulling the fender. The '86-'93 244/245 cars changed turn signals, not positive but I think a fender up to '85 will fit in all respects.

    Just as a side note, the GT fenders have a slightly different ridge that the trim sits on, I had to purchase a new fender (yep, still make 'em) two years ago after a fender bender.

      Yes- fenders up to '85 will fit, but pulling a fender off a non-"commando" bumper 240 ('82?-'85) would require filling the holes for the above-the-bumper trim and relocating them (about an inch?); also there's an extra hole or two for the plastic bumper cover on the later cars. (I've got an '84 DL fender on my '78 DL.)
