hesitates when hot 200

i replaced the intake manifold gasket last week that had a leak. i thought that was the problem but car still hesitates once its been running for a while. it only does this when its warm out. ive read some posts about parts that are easily affected by temp. could someone help point me in the right direction to find the problem.

Are more symptoms than just hesitation that can be helpful like lousy fuel economy, or strong fuel vapor odor. Hard starting after sitting around a while? High idle when hot? Could be many things and sound like possibly too much fuel when hot, that would also have other symptoms tho that you didn't mention.

i will know if it acts like it did before i replaced the intake manifold gasket this afternoon when i drive home from work. before the im gasket the hesitation was so bad that when you floored it the car wouldnt react at all. i would have to pull over and stop and restart the car.it wouldnt always start right back up or go once started. then as it would accelerate, it would sometimes make a spitting noise while hesitating and seemed to run better when the rpms where kept high. im not 100% sure about the rpm thing though.

My friend, you were on track with the IM gasket. You are looking for a source of combustion air that is not measured by the mass airflow meter. On a B23F, check out the corrugated tube from the meter to the throttle plate. Hold it up to the light to see where it rubs through on the fender. Make sure the hose from IM to ignition module holds vacuum.

tube from amm to throttle is ok. not sure where the ignition module is. is it on the right side fender if so that hose it holding vacuum. couldnt get the car to act up today. the temp. only got to about 73 though.
