Location and repair of ECU 700 1986

Where is the ECU located, and can it be opened and loose joints resoldered ?

There is one above your left foot by the steering column, EZK. The other is located beside the passenger's right foot, under the plastic cover (LH). I have never heard of anyone who claimed to have success with re-soldering them but hell you never know 'til you try, right?
