960 Trim S90-V90

Does anyone know if the "wood" trim on the 96 960 is real wood or plastic. I'd assumed it was real but it sure looks fake.

The dash trim is indeed real walnut. I don't think it's real thick. An Indy shop cracked mine and they replaced it with a used one free. I had my old one fixed for about $50. The trim on the door panels, however, is "genuine" plastic. If you look close you can see the door trim is too smooth, and the one on the dash shows the natural imperfections of real wood.

The trim on both our 98 and our 95 is plastic throughout.

Genuine plastic. There were some special editions that may have had real wood, especially out of Europe. Otherwise I believe there are aftermarket sources for real wood trim kits.

In my one I have only stearing wheel from wood.
In parts catalog there is no real wood trim.
