My front passenger seatbelt catch (the black and red part with teh release button_ wouldn't hold the male seatbelt end. I noticed that a black plastic piece at the base came off. There was a loose spring laying there along with a clip - any idea on how to put this all back together? A picture would be worth a thousand words - THANKS!

I happen to have extra ones on hand...

I could send you one... it is used... works

Let me know...if you do want mine... I just need to know which clip you are looking for, their are two differnt ones... one is wider then the other.... I have both...it would be free....just send me the box postmarked etc and I will return it to you.

It would be expensive to buy new... if you do try, express auto parts online store... I have had pretty good luck with them, europarts as well... best quick bet might be to go to a smaller Volvo shop in your area. They usualy have parts cars in their yards for older volvo's... if not they would most likely be cheaper then the dealership and it is good to support the little guys.

update...sorry, not express auto but rather eeuroparts or vlvworld, they have the female end, pretty cheap...
had to look it up in some paper work...

Had that happen... why not just replace it... make sure you grab the right one..for you male receptor... easy switch out.

I just discovered that the piece of plastic that holds one of the springs is broken. No fix possible - I need a replacement. Any tips on where I can find a cheap replacement online? Thanks!
