73 tranny + OD 1800

Hi, quick question.-
Did the 1973 1800 have the M41 trans.?
I am also assuming it had the J-type OD.
Thanks,
CU

Yes and yes... it should if its a manual box car.

But if there was ever a transmission failure, someone could just as easily put in an earlier box... best to have a looksee before making assumptions.

Many of them had the BW35 automatic.
(Don't ask me why they would furnish them that way.)

I had an auto 1800E. A '72 model. It (pardon my french) sucked. An M41 was swapped into it within 4 months of my owning it.
